This week, we have published 500 new music tracks in a refresh of the Upmarket Bar music profiles.

These programmes are designed to appeal to an affluent 30+ ABC1 clientele, and can be scheduled in sequence to provide an original, day and night soundtrack that caters for this lucrative demographic.

50: Daytime Lounging

A laid back mixture of jazz, blues and soul infused music from current and upcoming singer songwriters. The mix is unobtrusive and timeless; think coffees on settees, lite bites, and business meetings in hotel bars.

Key artists include: Smoove And Turrell, John Mayer, Leon Bridges, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Lady Wray and Charles Bradley

51: Cocktail Chic

The exposed filament lights are dulled to a warm glow, and small tealights are lit. A mixture of French-flavoured funk and soulful house is played. Conversation is between couples, and small groups of friends while cocktails and premium spirits are sipped.

Key artists include: Purple Disco Machine, Parcels, Chromeo, Tuxedo, Cool Million and Franc Moody

53: Decadent Dancing

The music is familiar, but not too cheesy. Patrons are clustered around poser tables grooving to a vibe that is retro, funky and classy with a pinch of old-skool house and R&B.

Key artists include: Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Luther Vandross, Cee Lo Green, Jamiroquai, Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross
